Provided resources and prevention education to HIV-infected

Provided resources and prevention education to HIV-infected individuals and their families largely through the organization's two HIV care grant programs and HIV clinic, 340b medication program, and housing opportunities for persons with aids program. During 2019, the organization helped 3,032 patients.The HIV care grant programs supported access to HIV care and treatment for low-income people living with HIV as well as outpatient HIV early intervention services and ambulatory care by providing comprehensive primary HIV medical care and services. During 2015 the organization opened a medical clinic staffed by licensed medical personnel offering comprehensive health care services to persons with HIV including medical assessment and on-going care, mental health services and HIV counseling and testing. During 2018 the organization also began offering healthcare and supporting services for people who are lgbtq in addition to people living with HIV.Under the 340b medication program prescription medications are purchased and held by an approved agent until distribution upon receipt of a valid doctor's prescription. Through its housing opportunities for persons with aids program transitional housing opportunities were provided for low-income persons living with HIV disease in order to prevent homelessness.
