Program

Game changer program - the gamechanger project is a CDC fund

Game changer program - the gamechanger project is a CDC funded program that focuses on testing, linkage to care, and retention for people who are at risk for HIV or who are HIV positive. The project also refers people who are high-risk negative to pre-exposure prophylaxis (prep) providers. Aids alabama has administered 1,100 HIV tests, identified five newly diagnosed individuals, and has 20 persons receiving prep services. We are proud of the fact that 15% of the persons we have tested were at significant risk of HIV exposure and were within our target demographic, and that 10% are taking prep.
