Hips provides drop in and outreach direct supportive service
Hips provides drop in and outreach direct supportive services to individuals, and their communities, impacted by sex work and drug use. Program activities include a drop in center, access to harm reduction supplies, HIV prevention materials, overdose education and prevention materials, non-medical case management, HIV early intervention services, housing navigation and referrals, individual counseling and referrals, educational workshops and support groups, peer education projects, laundry and shower access, HIV and hepatitis c testing and counseling, community health worker services, peer advocacy services, and a comprehensive mobile services program to connect with street-based workers, that run Monday through Thursday 11am-6pm and on the weekend from Friday through Sunday from 11pm to 5.30am.
