Embracing the journey began conversation with saddleback church to form a strategic partnership to launch embracing the journey saddleback parent support groups in the 1st quarter of 2020. We onboarded eight new fabulous volunteers to help with: one-on-one parent coaching leading virtual support groups administration we coached and counseled a record number of people in 2019 150 parents six lgbtq individuals in October we successfully launched our first etj parent support group with over 20 participants. We anticipate having at least 10 groups with 200 parents participating by the end of 2020. In 2019 we grew our donor base to 67 families totally totaling 115,000.00 January "q" Christian fellowship annual conference/chicago. We led a 90 minute workshop titled "embracing your journey" February b.T. Harman conducted a 45 minute live interview for harbor workshop. "Harbor" is a safe place for parents with lgbtq children and is a paid subscription. Mama bears documentary film producer daresha kyi conducted a two hour interview where we stand firm on being "inclusive" vs. "Affirming- or non- affirming." Targeted release date is fourth quarter of 2019 March justin lee live facebook interview. Justin conducted an interviewed for 60 minutes. Justin is the founder of the gay Christian network and author of the book "torn". Cbs published our 1st op-ed nationwide titled 'five tips from embracing the journey, a Christian parents blueprint for loving your lgbtq child' April janelle hallman denver seminary professor and founder of desert hope ministries reached out to discuss possible partnering with her on sacred journey retreats npr leila fadel national correspondent aired a segment with us concerning conversion and the bill 580 before the georgia legislature banning conversion therapy for minors on morning edition with an audience of 14.9 million listeners. North point community church conducted a 90 minute interview for 80+ parents at a parent connect group meeting. "Q" Christian fellowship parent summit/buckhead. We led a 75 minute workshop titled "lgbtq 101" May bill arnold of the faith radio network broadcasting throughout the midwest conducted a one hour interview spotlighting embracing the journey ministry. June jill and mark savage run a membership site for married couples called 'no more perfect date night'. They interview marriage authors and couples who have overcome difficult situations for our members. They have asked us to participate in a 30 minute interview in June. They are regularly featured on focus on the family and family life. November the reformation project annual conference November 2019 seattle,washington. We have been asked to speak and help with conference design.
