In 2019, the happy hippie foundation donated $100,000 to gender spectrum to continue developing and expanding digital support groups and resources for gender-expansive and transgender youth, their families, educators, and healthcare providers, serving thousands of young people globally. The happy hippie foundation also funds support services for lgbtq individuals in los angeles by granting $25,000 to the los angeles lgbt center to provide group programming and workshops for transgender individuals, in New York city by funding the hetrick-martin institute with a $25,000 grant to provide drop-in services, counseling, and arts therapy to lgbtq youth, many of whom are also experiencing homelessness, and in orlando by funding the zebra coalition with a $25,000 grant to provide lgbtq youth with counseling services and group therapy sessions.
