In 2019, the happy hippie foundation granted $140,000 to my friend's place, a drop-in center for young people experiencing homelessness in los angeles, to serve nearly 1,400 youths with basic needs items (clothing and meals) as well as creative arts, job training, and animal companion programs. Additionally, the happy hippie foundation provided $300,000 to the malibu foundation to aid families left homeless by the woolsey fire in November 2018 and provide them with basic needs items, support services, and interim housing.
