Drop-in center. In 2019, afc welcomed 362 new clients at the drop-in center. In total, we served a total of 2002 new and returning clients at the drop-in center. The drop-in center saw expansion in its wraparound services - we began offering more clinical case management services to clients staying in the overnight program. Leap, our employment and education program, increased staffing, allowing more concrete support to clients living in our various housing programs. The mental health department grew to offer afcs first ever creative arts therapy department, with the onboarding of a coordinator of creative arts therapy & programming and a creative arts therapist. The creation of this department expanded the ability to offer creative arts therapy and groups to our youth, as well as allowed for on-site supervision to creative art therapy interns.
