Direct services - provided free legal services and advocacy for over 412 individuals and engaged in litigation and policy work to guarantee the civil and human rights of low-income people and people of color who are transgender, intersex and gender non-conforming.
Movement building - develop skills, leadership and political power of transgender people of color and low-income transgender people by educating 205 community members through know your rights trainings and skill shares focused on legal self-advocacy, immigration, police encounters, incarceration, and medicaid and by conducting 2 town halls to educate over 150 community members on health care rights.
Public education and training - provide public education and training for over 1,194 service providers, attorneys, students, and activists to reduce discrimination against transgender, gender-non conforming and intersex people and increase access to safe and accessible services.
